Hiking is the most practiced sport for many tourists on vacation in Algarve. This is a sport that everyone can practise, as you can choose your level and the length of the walk.

In Portimao, the Sierra de Monchique is a great place for hiking as there are kilometers of trails and natural paths where you can discover the natural beauty of inland Algarve. If you´d rather breath the fresh ocean air, you can always opt for a hike on the beach, one of the best and most popular place to go hiking.
